Objective Assessment of the Client's Directory Expenditure
Our evaluation of the client’s expenditure is unprejudiced, as no employee of Robbins has ever worked for a utility or publisher. We represent the client.

Development of Directory Programs
Robbins can create a white/yellow page format stressing corporate identity and patterned to address specific customer questions. Should a consistent set of 800 service numbers appear in both the white and yellow pages? Should hours of operation appear? Should one heading be designated for the client's free listing? Should the client's web site or online service be included in advertising copy?

'411' (information) Monitoring/Maintenance
Robbins constantly monitors the '411' system to insure that the client's customers are successfully contacting the office/department they are trying to reach. Robbins has a system in place whereby they work in close tandem with the client's telecom staff to troubleshoot any and all '411' customer complaints that may arise.

Policing Questionable Directory Solicitations/Invoices
Robbins Advertising polices all telephone directory advertising solicitations and invoices not authorized by our clients.

Resolution of Local Directory Charges
Robbins verifies charges on local telephone bills and evaluates each line item for accuracy and validity.

Directory Reports
Robbins provides numerous reports that can be customized to meet a client’s specific needs. Robbins provides reports to clients within hours of the request. Following are just a few reports Robbins can readily make available:

  • Close Date Report
    This report sorts, in closing date order, all of the directories in which the client has placements.
  • Publish Date Report
    This report sorts, in publishing date order, all of the directories in which the client has placements.
  • Directory Publisher Report
    This report sorts all directories by publisher name. That is, Alltel, BellSouth, Sprint, Verizon, etc.
  • Directory State Report
    This report sorts all directories by state. The report can be further sorted by closing and/or publishing date.
  • Directory Advertising Item Report
    This report sorts all directories for a specified item of advertising displaying the cost for the item projected across an entire program.
  • Client/Heading/Directory/Advertising Item Report
    This report sorts all directories in which placements include a specified yellow page heading. The report details the costs at a specific Yellow Page heading.
  • Client Detail Report
    This report reflects a detailed analysis (item-for-item) of all client program costs. This data can be sorted by close date/publication date/state.
  • Client Directory Coverage Report
    This report reflects all cities/towns covered by each directory in which the client has placements. The data can be sorted by close date/publication date/state.

Local Carrier Conversion
Robbins can help coordinate the conversion of a client's local service to a CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier). That is, should the client decide to switch local carriers to someone other than the traditional phone company (i.e. Sprint, BellSouth, SBC etc) Robbins manages directory placements accordingly to ensure accuracy.

Tear Page Studies
Robbins maintains a library of directories from all over the world. Should the client need a specific tear page from a specific directory or group of tear pages across a geographical region Robbins can promptly provide to the client’s specifications.
